Along the way, you’ll discover trails surrounded by unique trees, while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings and the beauty of the region. The charming town of Salento, with its colorful streets and welcoming atmosphere, will provide you with an unforgettable experience. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of the Coffee Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and connect deeply with nature and local culture.
We begin the tour with a walk to the Bosque de Palmas farm, the ideal place to admire the wax palm and enjoy the best viewpoints overlooking the Cocora Valley. Along the trail through the cloud forest, we’ll pass two viewpoints, and if we’re lucky, we might spot the majestic Andean Condor, hummingbirds, trogons, and a wide variety of other species that inhabit the Colombian high Andean forest. You’ll have time to capture unforgettable moments and enjoy the tranquility of the place. Afterward, we’ll return to Salento and stroll along the main street, where you can admire the town’s traditional architecture. We’ll have an hour for lunch and to recharge before our horseback ride around Salento, all the way to the river. We’ll stop halfway at a coffee farm if you’d like to enjoy a specialty coffee and a beautiful view. Then we’ll return to Salento to conclude the activity.
